Wilfred Den Hartog

Wilfred den Hartog has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Wilfred is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Plasmacure since May 2022. Previously, they worked at XVIVO Abdominal, where they held multiple positions including Chief Executive Officer from 2017 to 2022, Sales Director abdominal from 2020 to 2022, and Chief Commercial Officer from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Philips Healthcare as a Senior Manager Cardiology Solutions from 2014 to 2015. Before that, they worked at Philips in different roles, including Business Manager in 2014, Clinical Scientist APAC from 2011 to 2013, and Clinical Scientist from 2006 to 2011. Wilfred also gained experience as a graduate student at Medtronic Heart Valves, where they worked on technology transfer and development of new techniques for cleaning biological heart valves from 2003 to 2004.

Wilfred den Hartog obtained a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology. Wilfred attended the university from 1997 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their VWO (pre-university education) from Prins Willem Alexander (PWA) / Het Heerenlanden in Leerdam, The Netherlands, between the years 1991 and 1997.
