Caroline Andersson

Caroline Andersson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the chemical industry and regulatory affairs. Currently, as the Director at Fluoropolymers Plastics Europe since January 2025, Caroline oversees operations in a full-time capacity. Prior to this role, Caroline served for over a decade at Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council), where responsibilities included Senior Sector Group Manager for the Association of Synthetic Amorphous Silica Producers and for Specialty Chemicals, focusing on industry-wide issues and team leadership. Additional roles have included Counsellor for Public Affairs at Euro Chlor, where advocacy initiatives towards EU institutions were developed, and Regulatory Affairs Coordinator, analyzing environmental regulations for the chlor-alkali industry. Early career experience includes a consulting assignment with the Federation of Swedish County Councils and an internship with the European Commission. Caroline holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Civilekonom degree in Economics from Lund University.
