Olivia Ballvé Macaya's work experience begins in 2015 as the Chapter Chair of the California Public Interest Research Group, where they led recruitment initiatives and achieved the highest turnout ever for a kick-off meeting. Olivia then worked as a Trainee at the OECD Development Centre in 2017, drafting policy notes and assisting in organizing forums. In 2018, they interned at OSINERGMIN, where they collaborated on drafting the OECD Performance Assessment Framework and translated dialogue between Osinergmin and international energy regulators. From 2017 to 2019, Olivia worked as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, managing registration and room scheduling. In 2019, they joined Endeavor as a member of the Agriculture Entrepreneur Selection & Growth team, researching and screening high-impact entrepreneurs in the industry. Olivia also worked at Kiva in the Systems and Operations department of Strategic Partnerships from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Olivia is a Program Analyst at Nuup, where they help drive positive change in the agricultural sector by creating and implementing innovative financing solutions for small-scale farmers.

Olivia Ballvé Macaya holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Economy and History from the University of Southern California, which they obtained from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2015 to 2016, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics. Olivia completed their high school education at the American School of Madrid from 2000 to 2015, earning an International Baccalaureate & High School Diploma. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including "Fundamentals of Quantitative Modeling" and "Introduction to Spreadsheets and Models" from Coursera in February 2022, as well as "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn in September 2020.
