Krishna Janakiraman

Krishna Janakiraman is the VP of Engineering at Plate IQ. Krishna has a long history of working with data, having started their career as a software engineer with Infosys Technologies and Sun Microsystems. Krishna then transitioned into research, first as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley and then as a Research Software Engineer at Sprint Nextel. In their most recent position before Plate IQ, they were a Senior Data Engineer at BandPage, which was acquired by Google in 2015.

Krishna has a wealth of experience with data infrastructure and algorithms, which they have used to solve various business problems such as spam account detection, content quality classification, artist matching across uncertain namespaces and merchandize recommendation models.

Krishna Janakiraman has a Masters from the School of Information at University of California, Berkeley and a BE in Electrical and Electronics from University of Madras.
