Michael Kalt

Michael Kalt is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the travel and IT sectors. Currently serving as Geschäftsführer/CEO of PLATH GmbH & Co. KG since July 2023 and as a member of the advisory board for Deutscher Reisesicherungsfonds GmbH since November 2021, Kalt has a strong focus on protecting travelers from financial insolvency risks associated with travel providers. Previous roles include Geschäftsführer and CEO of PLATH CORPORATION, as well as a variety of leadership positions at alltours flugreisen GmbH, Hotelplan Suisse, travel IT GmbH&CoKG, and TravelTainment AG. Kalt holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from the University of Warwick and advanced diplomas in Marketing and Business Analysis from the University of Birmingham and Lancaster University, respectively.
