Brent Janss

Brent Janss, CPA has a diverse range of work experience. Brent is currently working as the Finance Director - Clinical Field & Operations at Platinum Dermatology Partners. Prior to this role, they co-founded and served as the Fractional CFO at Red & West, where they designed and commercialized licensed products for University of Oklahoma fans. Brent also served as a Board Member for the ALLIANCE FOR SUPPORTIVE HOUSING. Brent worked as a Fractional CFO for Old Sport Company LLC and held various roles at United Surgical Partners International, Inc, including CEO/Admin at Memorial Hermann Katy Surgery Center and Regional CFO. Brent began their career as an Assurance Senior at EY and gained experience as an Accounting and Finance Intern at Stratus Properties Inc., Silicon Labs, and EY. Additionally, they were a Consulting Associate at The Ronnie K. Irani Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth, where they developed growth strategies for start-ups. Overall, Brent has a strong background in finance, accounting, and leadership roles.

Brent Janss, CPA received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with Distinction in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma in 2016. Brent then pursued a Master in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business from 2016 to 2017. In 2019, Brent obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Additionally, they completed a Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the University of Oklahoma in 2016. Brent has also obtained various certifications in areas such as cost management, accounting and finance, and e-commerce from MasterCPE LLC, with the most recent certification obtained in 2022.
