Emily Cowperthwaite

Emily Cowperthwaite serves as the Chief Operating Officer at PLATO Testing since August 2020, after holding the position of Director of Test Automation Services. Prior experience includes a tenure at NOVA Chemicals from May 2013 to 2020 as a Process Improvement Engineer and Graduate Research Assistant, where Emily developed mathematical models for process simulations related to ethane pyrolysis and coke formation. Additionally, a stint as a Research and Development Assistant at Gambro in 2011 involved validating processes and testing products related to kidney dialyzers. Emily holds a Master of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
