Eddie Gutierrez

Eddie Gutierrez has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Eddie currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Senior Officer at Platte River Power Authority. In this role, they have revitalized the strategic planning process, implemented deferred revenue strategies, and modernized workforce planning and recruitment strategies. Eddie has also restored relationships with key accounts and created a new external affairs and customer engagement team. Prior to this, Eddie served as the Vice President of Customer Care, Strategic Communications, and Community Engagement at El Paso Electric Company, where they focused on corporate strategy development, customer care, advocacy, and philanthropy. Before that, they held the position of Managing Director at The Gutierrez Group, where they gained extensive experience in managing operations and client relationships. Eddie has also held roles at Equality California, where they served as the Director of Communications, and at GAY & LESBIAN ALLIANCE AGAINST DEFAMATION INC, where they worked as the Asst. Regional Director / Manager, focusing on community outreach and advocacy.

Eddie Gutierrez's education history includes a bachelor's degree in Diplomacy & World Affairs from Occidental College. Eddie also holds a master's degree in Public and International Affairs with a focus on Urban & Regional Planning from Princeton University.
