Ronald Escalona

Ronald Escalona is the current Head of Cloud Engineering at Platzi. Ronald has over 10 years of experience in DevOps and has worked with some of the biggest companies in the world including Alkanza, where they were a Senior DevSecOps Engineer. Ronald has a passion for security and has contributed to applying security best practices aligned with ISO 27.001 and OWASP. Ronald is an expert in Kubernetes, CI / CD with Jenkins, MongoDB and PostgreSQL and used AWS as a Cloud provider.

Ronald Escalona has a degree in Information Technology from the National Experimental University of Táchira and Specialist in Cybersecurity from the Pontifical Bolivarian University. Ronald also has a Certification in Internal Audit ISO 27001 from SGS, AWS Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services, CCNA from Cisco and ITILv3 Foundations from APMG International.
