Srinivas Mellacheruvu

Srinivas Mellacheruvu is a highly accomplished manufacturing and quality expert with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Head of Manufacturing and Quality at Backbone since March 2025, Srinivas has previously held key roles, including Director of Manufacturing Operations at Meta from June 2017 to July 2024, where manufacturing operations for advanced products such as Ray-Ban Smart Glasses and Meta Quest VR/MR Headset were established. Prior to Meta, Srinivas worked at Google as Advanced Technology Manufacturing Lead from November 2013 to June 2017, overseeing manufacturing for innovative products like Google Daydream View and Google Glass. Srinivas's career also includes significant contributions as Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Apple and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Motorola. Srinivas holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University and a Bachelor’s degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
