Margarette Purvis is an accomplished nonprofit executive with extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, and organizational development. Currently serving as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Players Alliance, Margarette provides guidance to the board of directors and oversees program development while managing the organization's budget. As the Owner and Chief Strategist of The Charity CEO, Margarette specializes in turnaround strategies and fundraising for charities. With a previous tenure as President and CEO of Food Bank For New York City, Margarette led a large team and spearheaded initiatives to deliver critical services to vulnerable populations. Margarette's career also includes roles focused on consulting for nonprofits, founding an online magazine, and developing programs aimed at empowering communities and individuals facing hardships. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Studies and Public Policy from Dillard University and advanced studies in Policy Analysis and Nonprofit Management at New York University and The New School.
