The Playful Learning Lab is a research group at the University of St. Thomas, founded and led by Dr. AnnMarie Thomas. The lab's work is focused on bringing the mindset of play to learning environments, with an emphasis on K-12 education. Examples of the lab's past work include: the invention of Squishy Circuits, development of a Circus Science curriculum, implementation of an after-school engineering program for d/Deaf children, and a variety of workshops and playdates for educators.
