Ondrej Mrkus

Ondrej Mrkus is an accomplished entrepreneur and educator with extensive experience in innovation and design. Currently serving as the CEO and Founder of Playful since January 2023, Ondrej is developing an educational platform for children that leverages team-based games for experiential learning. Previously, Ondrej contributed to Charles University as a teacher, co-creating a hands-on seminar focused on product development. As a Senior Innovation Designer at Q Designers from September 2019 to August 2023, Ondrej led various projects aimed at creating minimal viable products efficiently. Ondrej also founded MetaSprint, designing courses for independent makers from October 2018 to December 2021, and co-founded MINDFLOW lab, achieving profitability shortly after launch. Earlier roles include Game Designer at GAMEE and an entrepreneurial venture with Melimo, showcasing a diverse background in both educational and creative domains. Education includes studies at Prague University of Economics and Business and SPŠSE a VOŠ, Liberec.
