Christian Smith

Christian Smith is a seasoned video editor and director of photography with a diverse background in film production and multimedia content creation. Currently serving as a Video Editor at Playmaker since August 2024, Christian specializes in crafting teaser videos for podcasts. An extensive freelance career starting in January 2010 includes directing and editing that emphasizes a unique visual identity, along with scriptwriting and sound design. Previous roles include video editing for West Coast Trial Lawyers, UCLA's Depression Grand Challenge, and LinkedIn Learning, where over 900 courses were edited. Christian also gained experience as a video production intern for JAJ International, contributing to content showcased at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Video Editing and Digital Cinematography from San Francisco State University, Christian has demonstrated strong creative leadership across various educational and professional settings.
