Noah Appelbaum

Teacing Artist and Performer at Playmakers Laboratory Theatre

Noah Appelbaum has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2009, they began their career as an intern at Berkshire Playwrights Lab. Noah then worked freelance and took on multiple roles as an actor, choreographer, and writer/editor from 2009 to 2017.

In 2013, they joined WyzAnt Tutoring as a content reviewer until 2015. From 2017 to 2021, Noah was a faculty member at The Second City Training Center and also worked as a teaching artist and performer at Playmakers Laboratory Theatre. At Playmakers Lab, they taught drama, creative writing, and social-emotional learning in schools and organizations, and adapted student work into plays and songs performed in Chicago and virtually.

Noah also worked as a guitar, bass, and ukulele instructor at Lyriq Music School starting in 2017. In 2019, they pursued voiceover talent roles, and in 2021, they transitioned to motion capture talent roles. Additionally, they were a member of the Incredibulls Squad at the Chicago Bulls from 2010 to 2011.

Noah Appelbaum obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna cum Laude, from Bard College at Simon's Rock. Noah majored in Drama and Music during their time at the college. No specific years of enrollment or graduation were provided.
