Y. J. Kim

Y. J. Kim has a diverse range of experience in the design industry. They are currently working as the Lead Designer at Playper since January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a UX Designer at Epic Reach from March 2022 onward. Y. J. Kim also has extensive experience as a UI Designer at YJ Design since June 2011, where they focused on designing and developing online campaigns for various clients. Before that, they served as an Art Director at TeachTown Inc. from July 2010 to May 2011, where they led a team of artists to create website and marketing collateral for educational products. Y. J. Kim also worked as an Art Director at Big Bad Tomato from August 2007 to June 2010, managing a team and creating digital products for family entertainment brands. They began their career as a Senior Designer at Walt Disney Internet Group in 1999, where they led creative teams and executed multi-million dollar campaigns. Y. J. Kim started their career as an Environmental Graphic Designer at Walt Disney Imagineering from March 1997 to December 1999.

Y. J. Kim obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic/Packaging from the ArtCenter College of Design between 1991 and 1995. Later, between 1995 and 1997, Y. J. Kim pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Communication in New Media at the same institution, ArtCenter College of Design.
