Ellie Griffiths

Senior Technical Artist at Quell

Ellie Griffiths began their work experience in 2016 at Renishaw as a Graduate Software Engineer. Ellie then moved on to King in 2017, initially working as a Technical Artist intern before becoming a Graduate Technical Artist. At King, they primarily worked on Farm Heroes Saga, supporting the project and assisting with new features. Ellie'sresponsibilities included shaders, VFX, tooling, artist support, training, and documentation. In 2020, Ellie joined PRO Unlimited @ Facebook as a Technical Artist for the Horizon: Workrooms project, where they focused on creating engaging meetings in VR for the Oculus platform. Ellie was responsible for developing VR-friendly shaders, training artists, and collaborating with prototypers. Currently, Ellie works at Quell as a Technical Artist on their launch title, Shardfall. Ellie'srole involves establishing stylized shaders, supporting the art direction, managing the community on Discord, and contributing to narrative planning and scrum mastering.

Ellie Griffiths attended the University of Cambridge from 2012 to 2016, where they pursued their MEng in Manufacturing Engineering.
