David Preisman

David Preisman has a diverse work experience spanning across several industries. David is currently working as the SVP of Product and Distribution at PlayWorks Digital Limited. Prior to this, they served as the President of Genuine Reality in 2021.

David has extensive experience in the media and entertainment industry, particularly during their time at Showtime Networks Inc. David held various roles at Showtime, including VP of Emerging Distribution Platforms & Special Markets, VP of Emerging Technology & Digital Services, VP of Interactive Television, and Director of Interactive Television.

During their tenure at Showtime, David achieved record-breaking subscriber and revenue growth. David secured a deal with Spotify to include the Showtime App with the Spotify Student offering and forged innovative partnerships with Marriott and Hilton to bring the Showtime App, free for guests, nationwide. David also developed groundbreaking TV-based apps for new platforms and established Showtime's content management team.

Before working at Showtime, David worked as a Post Production Supervisor at National Video and as a Freelance Television Producer, Editor, and Animator for clients including VH-1, Museum of TV & Radio, NBA, Sundance Channel, and HBO.

Earlier in their career, David served as a video production/animator instructor at Levels Youth Center and worked as a Designer/Owner at Sideshow Media Inc.

David's career began as an intern at WBAB Radio (102.3 FM) in 1986.

David Preisman graduated from State University of New York at Oswego in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. David majored in Broadcast Communications and minored in Art. Prior to attending college, they attended Syosset High School. David has also obtained several certifications including Excel 2016 Essential Training, Artificial Intelligence Tools and Concepts, How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit, and 360 Video Workflow from LinkedIn in the year 2020.
