George Helmstetter

George Helmstetter is a Principal at Plaza Equity Partners since June 2013, overseeing project-wide business plans and directing a team of professionals in various disciplines. Prior to this role, George served as Vice President - Investments at iStar from August 2007 to May 2013, where George re-positioned $600 million of real estate and structured and closed $960 million of debt. Before that, George worked as a Financial Analyst at LNR Property LLC from July 2005 to August 2007, rotating through various analyst programs. George holds a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance and Accounting from Bentley University.
