John Palanca

John Palanca currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Home Consumer Business and Sales & Development at PLDT since August 2023. Prior to this role, John held multiple leadership positions at Smart Communications, Inc., including First Vice President and Group Head of Consumer Business. Experience with PLDT Global Corporation includes serving as Vice President and Group Head of Global Operations and managing director roles in Japan and CEO in Malaysia. Additional experience includes serving as Country President for Motorola in the Philippines and Vice President at Nextel Communications Philippines. John Palanca's educational background includes an Executive Development Program from The Wharton School and a BS in Business Management from De La Salle University.
