Patrick Gannon

Patrick Gannon is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in strategic communication, community engagement, and media relations. Currently serving as the Director of Communication for Pleasanton Unified School District since January 2016, Patrick leads initiatives to inspire and inform families and the community, while previously holding roles that included Coordinator of Communication and Public Information Officer across various educational and healthcare organizations. With a Master's degree in Public Relations and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of the Pacific, Patrick has demonstrated expertise in developing communication plans, managing internal and external communications, and cultivating relationships with stakeholders, evident through prior positions with Alameda County Office of Education, St. Joseph's Medical Center, San Joaquin County Office of Education, and others.
