Scott Sutherland

Scott Sutherland serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Toposware since June 2022, leading the growth initiatives of a venture capital-backed startup focused on developing Topos, a secure multi-chain ecosystem using zero-knowledge proofs for interchain communication. Additionally, Scott has been a Digital Strategy Advisor at Plecosystems Inc. since August 2016, where responsibilities include go-to-market and business development strategies while significantly expanding the team. Previously, Scott held the position of Chief Operating Officer at MedScale+, contributing to the startup's founding and achieving product-market fit. Early career experiences include roles at Weka Solutions, SSS St Heliers Management, and BOF Ltd., with a strong focus on business development and consulting. Scott holds an MBA in Sustainability Studies from Auckland University of Technology and a BS in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Calgary.
