Kelvyn Lavelle

Chair, Plenary Health, New Footscray Hospital Project at Plenary Group

Kelvyn Lavelle joined Plenary in 2005 after a highly successful career in a public affairs consultancy.

Largely responsible for Plenary’s external communications, Kelvyn directs corporate, government and media affairs strategies across the business.

He has a developed particular expertise in the social infrastructure and construction sectors, having represented both the private and public sectors in the public-private partnership market.

Kelvyn has worked on a number of successful PPP projects including the $2.3 billion High Capacity Metro Trains project, the $1 billion Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre and the $1.4 billion Melbourne Convention Centre.

Kelvyn has also held senior public sector positions where he managed communications strategies and campaigns on complex policy and program delivery reforms.

Immediately prior to joining Plenary he was Chairman of market research firm Australian Research Group. He has been a regular commentator on political, media and communications issues on Melbourne radio.
