Bora Bardük

Bora Bardük has a diverse work experience in software engineering, data science, and internships. In 2021, they joined Plentific as a Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Tespo Cash&Carry from 2019 to 2020, where they conducted research on customer base analysis methods and improved classification performance. Their findings were published at the IEEE Turkey Section Conference.

In 2018, Bardük worked at Vitus Commodities as a Data Scientist. Bora developed a web-based business intelligence system with complex visuals and a caching system. Additionally, they created a commodity ship arrival forecaster with better accuracy than the previous model.

Before that, Bardük had an internship at HAVELSAN in 2017 as a Software Engineer. There, they improved the performance of a hyper-spectral image processing algorithm and migrated MATLAB code to C++ for better memory management.

In 2016, Bardük had an internship at ICM Software, where they focused on developing websites and iOS apps, including implementing front and back ends using CodeIgniter FMW. Bora also fixed security holes and database issues in previous projects.

Bardük also worked as a Computer Architecture Lab Tutor at Bilkent University in 2016, where they led a class, evaluated lab works and projects, and taught Verilog and MIPS to computer and electrical engineering students.

Their work experience began with a 4-week internship at Adepo.com in 2015, where they optimized an online ordering algorithm and implemented an app in Java for manual order processing. Overall, Bora Bardük has a strong background in software engineering, data science, and internships.

Bora Bardük completed their high school education from 2009 to 2014 at the American Collegiate Institute (ACI) / Özel İzmir Amerikan Koleji, majoring in Mathematics. Following that, from 2014 to 2018, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Bilkent University.
