Kevin was previously a computer vision researcher at NASA Ames, and led data science at Bump Technologies when it was acquired by Google. After being an Android machine learning engineer he founded a team at Google’s Area 120 incubator to improve emerging market credit access. Kevin has been granted 4 patents in mobile behavioral data. He is the CEO responsible for product and technology.

Plentina aims to unlock financial services to the emerging middle class in emerging markets by using machine learning algorithms. Plentina builds an alternative credit score and app that provides store credit financing to buy essentials like food and medicine. Plentina is currently in the Techstars Western Union accelerator focused on financial access.
