Xiaoming Liang

Xiaoming (Shawn) Liang is a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Plenty, where Xiaoming (Shawn) designs grow devices for the most advanced farm system in the world. Prior to this, Xiaoming (Shawn) worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Intuitive and Intuitive Surgical, taking on projects related to medical robotic systems. Xiaoming (Shawn) also has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Santa Clara University, where Xiaoming (Shawn) researched metamaterials and taught various engineering courses. With a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science from Penn State University, Xiaoming Liang has a strong educational background to support their work in the field.
