Jessie Scheepers

Jessie Scheepers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in people management, operations, and investment within the tech industry. Currently serving as the Belonging & Impact Lead at Pleo since August 2018, Jessie has also held the role of Head of People, significantly contributing to Pleo's growth from 40 to 550 employees. As an angel investor in Humaans, Jessie supports progressive solutions in People Tech. Academic contributions include serving as a guest lecturer in diversity and social responsibility at Copenhagen Business School. Prior roles include Head of Operations at Tonsser, Launcher at Wolt, and Senior Sales Manager at Meltwater, where Jessie achieved rapid career advancement. Jessie founded Hide and Sheep, a tech-led art and T-shirt company, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and Media Studies from the University of Cape Town.
