Kent Blankenship

Kent Blankenship has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Kent is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Plex Systems, Inc. since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Developer at Nexient from January 2021 to July 2021. Kent also held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Plex Systems, Inc. from March 2019 to December 2020.

Before joining Plex Systems, Inc., Kent worked at Cooper Standard from April 2016 to March 2019. During their time at Cooper Standard, they worked as a Business Analyst/Developer and later as a Lead Developer. In this role, they worked closely with users to define requirements and used Agile project management methodology for multiple projects. Kent also served as a project manager, business analyst, architect, project lead, and team lead, working with a development team size ranging from 5 to 15 developers. Additionally, they organized regular meetings and activities to keep the team engaged and promote learning.

Prior to their tenure at Cooper Standard, Kent gained experience in consulting roles at Adcore Japan, Daugherty Business Solutions, Systems Resources Consulting, and Arthur Andersen from 1994 to 2016.

Kent Blankenship obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1986 to 1994. Later on, they pursued higher education at Walsh College between 2006 and 2009, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Information Technology.
