Petr Havelka

Petr Havelka has over 25 years of experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Petr is currently serving as the Managing Director and Vice President of EMEA Operations and Customer Success at Plex Systems, Inc. Since joining Plex Systems in September 2020, Petr has been responsible for overseeing operations and customer success in the EMEA region.

Prior to their current role, Petr worked at SAP Ariba, where they held multiple positions over a span of seven years. From September 2017 to August 2020, they served as the VP, Head of Cloud Services EMEA and Managing Director for Ariba Czech. During this time, Petr was responsible for overseeing cloud services and managing the Ariba Czech subsidiary. Petr also held the position of VP, Head of Business Network Integration services EMEA and APJ, as well as Sr. Director Network Integration EMEA and APJ, where they played a key role in integrating business networks for the company.

Before joining SAP Ariba, Petr worked at Deutsche Post DHL and DHL IT Services. At Deutsche Post DHL, they served as the VP, Head of HR Transformation and HR IT Strategy from June 2011 to July 2013. At DHL IT Services, they held various leadership positions, including Head of Global Consulting Practice, Head of Global System Integration, and Senior Project Manager - System Integration.

Petr also gained experience at Global Payments Inc., where they served as a Key Account Manager and later as the Head of Project Management for Payments cards operations. Petr started their career at O2 Czech Republic as a Project Manager in E-Commerce. Prior to that, Petr worked at Deloitte as a Project Manager and Consultant in Electronic Data Exchange.

Throughout their career, Petr Havelka has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in operations, customer success, cloud services, business network integration, HR transformation, system integration, and project management.

Petr Havelka obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management and Administration from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, which they attended from 2002 to 2007. Petr then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of New York in Prague, from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Petr Havelka also obtained several certifications. In September 2009, they obtained a certification in Management of Risks from APMG - International. In July 2009, they received a certification in Building off-shore development center - India from Cognizant. In February 2009, they obtained a certification in ITIL - Foundation, but the institution is not specified. In June 2007, Petr obtained a certification in MSP - Managing Successful Programmes from APMG - International. Finally, in October 2005, they obtained a certification in Prince 2 Practitioner - Project Management Methodology, also from APMG - International.
