Shawn Mole

Shawn Mole has extensive work experience in various roles. Shawn started their career in 2004 as an Instructional Technologist at Virginia Tech, where they taught first-year composition and provided technical support. Shawn then worked as a Communications Specialist at IOGEN and later as a Communication Specialist at Unisys. In 2007, they joined Eko Systems as a User Experience Specialist and subsequently worked as a User Experience Specialist at MERGE HEALTHCARE LTD. In 2010, they became a Content Specialist at Judge Group before joining Phase2 in 2011 as a Director of User Experience. In this role, they managed a team of over 20 product managers, strategists, and designers, developed product strategy and roadmap, successfully launched multi-site publishing platforms, and provided leadership for the company's transition to responsive web design and agile software development. Shawn also led marketing, estimation, design, and selling of engagements for add-in work and new projects to clients. In 2016, they joined Plexus Technology Group, LLC as a Director of Product Management.

Shawn Mole pursued their education in English and professional writing at Virginia Tech. Shawn received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, specializing in professional, technical, business, and scientific writing, from 1999 to 2002. Following this, they went on to complete a Master of Arts degree in English with a focus on professional writing from 2002 to 2004, still at Virginia Tech.
