Michael Kennedy

Michael Kennedy, CFA, currently serves as the Head of North America Physical Natural Gas Trading at DRW since June 2022. In addition, Michael co-founded Plexus Technology Corporation in April 2020. Prior roles include Head of Physical Natural Gas Trading at Mercuria Energy America, Inc. from June 2016 to April 2020 and Vice President of Energy Trading at Goldman Sachs from August 2010 to April 2016. Earlier in career, Michael was involved in Energy Trading and Risk Management at Nexen from June 2006 to August 2010. Michael holds a CFA designation from the CFA Institute earned between 2007 and 2010 and a Bachelor of Management in Finance from The University of Lethbridge, completed in 2006.
