Victor Wiebe

Victor Wiebe is a Senior Solutions Architect at Pliant. Victor has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on systems integration and user experience. Prior to joining Pliant, Victor was a Senior Consultant at Windward Consulting, where they advised clients on process and system design and deployment to improve user experience. Victor also resolved troubled digital practices through collaborative efforts to expand business capabilities.

During their time at Windward, Victor constructed an automatic testing and triage process for a telco carrier, which allowed their helpdesk to perform initial tests to a remote site regardless of vendor specific needs. This allowed the helpdesk to be vendor-agnostic when assisting the customer. Victor also tied together the pieces of three distinct ticket systems into one pane of glass, to let the helpdesk focus on service, not tool functionality.

Victor utilized API's, HTMLUnit, Selenium, java and groovy to perform automated processing of external vendor requests which required knowledge of different web applications per vendor. Automating these processes allowed the administrators to focus on superior customer service, not routine day-to-day tasks.

Prior to joining Windward Consulting, Victor was the Manager of Enterprise Monitoring at SevOne Inc, where they were responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration and administration of SevOne's monitoring solutions for enterprise customers.
