Silka Cheng

Silka Cheng is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the biotechnology field. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Pliant Therapeutics since January 2022, Silka previously held various roles at LakePharma, Inc., including Associate Director of Project Management and Project Manager, spanning from October 2014 to December 2021. Prior to that, Silka worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, San Diego, where responsibilities included teaching microbiology laboratory techniques. Silka began the professional journey as an intern at UCSF in 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, both from UC San Diego.
