Jackson Matsuura

Jackson Matsuura is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as a back-end developer at Ploomes since March 2021, Jackson previously held various academic positions at the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA) from February 2005 to February 2021, including Associate Professor, where responsibilities included the development of MOOCs in Control Systems Engineering. In earlier roles, Jackson was instrumental in founding the Brazilian Robotics Olympiad and the ITAndroids robotics competition team, achieving global recognition with RoboChamps. Prior engineering experience at the Centro de Computação da Aeronáutica involved multiple leadership roles focusing on system maintenance, product analysis, and project management. Jackson holds a Doctorate and Master's degree in Engineering, specializing in Systems and Control, as well as an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from ITA.
