David C.

David C. is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Plooto, David previously held various roles at Wattpad, including Director of Engineering for Product Engineering and Engineering Manager for Monetization and Ads. Before their tenure at Wattpad, David took a travel sabbatical as a professional backpacker. David's earlier experience includes positions at Amazon.com, where responsibilities included Android and Kindle engineering as well as software engineering in the Enterprise Data Warehouse and as a summer intern. David holds a BASc in Honours Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, earned between 2003 and 2008.
