Georgie Field

Georgie Field has extensive experience in publishing, particularly within the scientific and academic sectors, currently serving as a Publisher at the Public Library of Science (PLOS) since September 2016. Georgie has held various positions at PLOS, including Associate Publisher, Journal Development Editor, Acting Publications Manager, Senior Publications Assistant, and Publications Assistant. Prior to this role, Georgie worked as a Trainee Digital Archivist at the Archaeology Data Service from October 2014 to September 2015. Georgie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Cambridge (2011 - 2014) and a Master of Science in Archaeological Science from the University of Oxford (2015 - 2016).
