Paulo Bettencourt

Paulo Bettencourt is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Principal Investigator at Católica Medical School, where responsibilities include coordinating the International Masters in Medicine program and leading research in immunology and vaccinology, particularly in vaccine development against tuberculosis and malaria. Bettencourt also holds roles as the Director of the Research and Teaching Laboratory and Deputy Director at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Health at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, alongside editorial contributions to PLOS Global Public Health.
