Stefan Joris

Stefan Joris is an experienced law enforcement professional currently serving as the General Coordinator of the Police School PLOT Limburg since January 2023, overseeing logistics, finances, and personnel to prepare qualified police officers for the Belgian integrated police. Previously, Stefan held various positions, including Connector at the Governor of Vlaams-Brabant, Superintendent at Local Police Zone CARMA, and Superintendent at Local Police Zone Midlim. Stefan has extensive training and leadership experience within the Belgian Federal Police, including roles as a trainer, expert, and team leader for international missions, and has engaged in educational roles as a lecturer in public order and crowd control. Stefan holds advanced degrees in criminology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and has participated in multiple specialized training programs relevant to law enforcement and crisis management.
