Ventures Analyst Aerospace at Plug and Play

Francesco Brescia has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Ventures Analyst in the Aerospace sector at Plug and Play Tech Center since 2023. In the same year, they also worked as a Ventures Analyst at Takeoff Accelerator. Prior to these roles, Francesco worked at Digital Magics from 2020 to 2023, where they served as a Dealflow Analyst and an Open Innovation Analyst. Francesco also gained experience as a Management Consulting Intern at Bip - Business Integration Partners in 2019. Francesco's first professional experience was as the Vice President and Co-founder of the Bocconi Students Watch Club, a student association focused on the luxury watch industry, from 2015 to 2017. Lastly, in 2013, they represented Guatemala in the Economic and Financial Committee as part of the National High School Model United Nations.

Francesco Brescia has a diverse education history. In 2014, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from Università Bocconi. Throughout their undergraduate years, Francesco also pursued an exchange program at the University of Adelaide in 2016 to broaden their academic experience.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Francesco continued their education at Università Bocconi, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology from 2017 to 2020. During this time, they also obtained additional certifications, including the EUTM – European Union Trade Mark from EUIPO in November 2017 and the Geopolitics and International Relations certificate from Geopolitica.info - Centro studi di geopolitica e relazioni internazionali in October 2017.

In 2021, Francesco embarked on a short-term educational opportunity at SIOI - Società Italiana per l'Organizzazione Internazionale. Here, they pursued a Master's degree in Istituzioni e Politiche Spaziali, focusing on the institutional and policy aspects of space.

Francesco's education journey began in 2003, when they started attending the Società Cooperativa Sociale "FIVE" - Istruzione e Formazione, where they studied English until 2014. Furthermore, in 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English from Cambridge English Language Assessment. Prior to their higher education pursuits, Francesco completed their Diploma di maturità scientifica at Liceo Scientifico in 2009.

Francesco's educational endeavors demonstrate a strong interest in economics, finance, innovation, technology, international relations, geopolitics, and space policy.
