Saku Patana

Saku Patana has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

From 2022, Saku has been working as a Data and Business Intelligence Engineer at Plug and Play Tech Center, where they are involved in developing Playbook, an in-house innovation software. Their responsibilities include creating value with the data generated by the software and providing analytical solutions to support global teams and improve customer experience.

In 2021, Saku worked as a Junior Advisor at Sofigate, where they supported and led device management for both customers and internally. They were also involved in strategic planning, ordering new devices, and process development.

Saku also worked as a Security Officer at Airpro Oy from 2016 to 2021, where they conducted full security controls and handled customer service tasks.

In 2020, Saku worked as a Junior Project Manager at KONE, focusing on reducing waste work in internal process development projects.

Saku gained experience in Business Development as a Thesis Worker at Global Tech Strategies in 2019, where they explored the potential of artificial intelligence and machine learning in expanding business opportunities. They also worked as a Project Manager, managing global and local projects in procurement IT consulting.

Other roles include Software Developer at Utelias Technologies Oy, Development Consultant at Arcadia, and Remover at Martela Group.

Before venturing into the corporate world, Saku served in the Finnish Defense Forces as a Military Police Sniper, and also worked as a Maintenance Staff at Keimola Golf Club.

Saku Patana has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management - Strategy and Data Science from Aalto University. This degree was obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, Saku Patana earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Industrial Management - International ICT Business from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. This degree was achieved from 2016 to 2020. During the academic year of 2019, Saku Patana participated in a student exchange program at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), where the focus of study was on Project Management & Product Development. Saku Patana also completed the Finnish Matriculation Examination at Martinlaakso High School from 2011 to 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Saku Patana has obtained various qualifications. These include:
