Julie Gidley

Julie Gidley leads the program team for Plug In America. Education and public outreach are themes that have spanned her professional career, along with a focus on building strong teams and a commitment to sustainability. Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and a master’s degree in sustainability from Northern Arizona University (NAU).

In her previous role, Julie oversaw energy efficiency program delivery for utility clients across the Southwest region as a program director with CLEAResult Consulting. Prior to CLEAResult, Julie managed children’s programming at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona, and implemented an environmental education program for NAU’s Ecological Restoration Institute in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Having raced go-karts in her youth, Julie has always enjoyed driving and is eager to soon purchase her first EV. Julie lives in Flagstaff and can often be found enjoying the nearby mountains, rivers and lakes with her family.
