Their recent work includes serving as a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Plug Power, where they have been responsible for various engineering tasks since 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Consultant and played a key role in providing consulting services. Before their consulting role, Chev Eldrid had a long career at GE Power, where they held multiple positions, including Senior Engineer, Thermal Design, and NTI Systems Integration Leader & Program Manager. They also have experience working at Plug Power as a Senior Systems Engineer, and at GE Aviation as a Thermal Design Engineer & Performance Engineer. Chev Eldrid earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1979 to 1983. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institute and completed it from 1983 to 1985. Alongside these academic achievements, Chev Eldrid has also obtained a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt.
