Danielle Joannides

Danielle Joannides, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Danielle currently works at Plug Power as an Associate Recruiter, where they are responsible for recruiting and talent acquisition. Prior to this, they worked at Paychex as a Senior Human Resources Generalist, managing various HR responsibilities. Danielle also had roles at Mitel as a Talent Acquisition Recruiting Coordinator and HR Specialist/Coordinator. Before entering the HR field, Danielle worked as a Corporate Receptionist/Executive Assistant at 5LINX Enterprises Inc. and as a Teacher at Greece Central School District. Danielle also gained experience in customer service and management as a Waitress/Shift Manager at Sticky Lips BBQ. At the beginning of their career, Danielle worked at Adecco Group as an Administrative Assistant, where they played a key role in supporting data center migration. Danielle also worked at Harris Corporation as an Administrative Assistant/Software Administrator, responsible for software review, purchasing, and compliance. Early in their career, Danielle gained leadership experience as a Team Lead/Administrative Assistant at First American Financial Corporation. Danielle started their career as a Camp Counselor at the YMCA of Greater Rochester. Throughout their professional journey, Danielle has developed a strong skill set in HR, recruitment, administration, customer service, and leadership.

Danielle Joannides, SHRM-CP, completed their education in a chronological order. Danielle first attended SUNY Brockport from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in English Language and Literature, with a focus on General studies. Following this, from 2004 to 2005, Danielle enrolled in Roberts Wesleyan University and earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching.

In addition to their formal education, Danielle Joannides received the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in December 2021.
