Jeffery Collins has over 18 years of work experience in various roles within the electrical and engineering fields. Prior to their time at Red Lion Controls, Jeffery worked at Sixnet, where they held the role of Engineering Technician from 2005 to 2007, performing tasks to support hardware design processes such as pre-compliance product testing and building/modifying prototype PCBs. Before that, they worked as a Test Technician from 2003 to 2005, testing Ethernet Switch, Industrial Modem, and Industrial Automation products, and also providing engineering resources for pre-compliance testing. Jeffery briefly worked as a Shipping Clerk in 2003.

Jeffery Collins attended SUNY Schenectady County Community College from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Electrical Technology. Jeffery has also obtained several certifications, including Acrobat DC Essential Training, Visio 2019 Essential Training, Learning LabVIEW, Introduction to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and GD&T BASICS Fundamentals Course - Certificate of Achievement. These certifications were obtained from various institutions, including LinkedIn and GD&T Basics, with the most recent certification obtained in July 2021.
