Lauren M.

Lauren M. has extensive work experience in the field of process safety engineering. Lauren currently holds the position of Principal Functional Safety Program Engineer at Plug Power, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Avantor as the Global Process Safety Leader from 2022 onwards. From 2018 to 2022, Lauren served as the Principal Process Safety Engineer at SI Group.

Lauren's career also includes roles such as HSE Coordinator at IMCO General Construction, Inc. from 2016 to 2018, Principal Process Engineer at WorleyParsons in 2016, and Process Safety Manager at REC Silicon from 2009 to 2016. Lauren previously worked at WorleyParsons as a Senior Process Engineer from 2004 to 2009, and as a Process Engineering Manager at Astaris LLC from 2002 to 2003. Lauren began their career at Union Carbide in 1992, where they held various process engineering positions until 2001. Throughout their career, Lauren has shown expertise in process safety management, including areas such as hazard analysis, risk management, audits, and incident investigation.

Lauren M. obtained their Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where they studied from 1988 to 1992.
