Nathan Demario

Nathan DeMario has extensive work experience in the engineering field starting from 2014. Nathan began their career as a Mechanical Engineer/Drafter at Trail Paver LLC, where they were responsible for designing systems and product lines while also managing CNC programming. In 2015, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Oxbo International Corporation. Nathan then joined High Tech Rochester as a Nexus NY Participant from January to October 2016. Nathan also gained valuable experience as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at HARBEC in December 2016 to January 2017.

In 2016, Nathan became a Co-Founder/Engineer at Phase Innovations, LLC, a company focused on providing innovative stack-based technologies for energy conversion and storage applications. Nathan worked there until January 2022, contributing to the development of nanotechnology advancements in thin films.

Nathan pursued their education simultaneously, starting as a student at Alfred State from 2013 to 2017. Nathan later joined the Rochester Institute of Technology as a Graduate Student from May 2017 to May 2020.

Presently, Nathan is employed at Plug Power, joining as a Mechanical Engineer in August 2020. Nathan then progressed to become a Lead Manufacturing Engineer in August 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Automation Engineering Manager, starting in June 2023.

Nathan DeMario obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2017 to 2020.
