Raja Amirthalingam

Raja Amirthalingam has extensive work experience in the engineering and technology field. Raja currently holds the position of Principal R&D Engineer at Plug Power starting from 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Air Liquide for a significant period of time, starting from 2004. At Air Liquide, they held various roles including Principal Control Engineer in Biogas and Methanol Production from 2019 to 2021, Principal Control Engineer in H2 Fueling from 2016 to 2019, and Advanced Process Control Technology Manager from 2004 to 2016. Raja also gained experience as an Associate Consultant at Prosys Inc from 1999 to 2000.

Raja Amirthalingam completed their education as follows:

From 1986 to 1990, they attended Anna University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering.

Between 1994 and 1998, they pursued their higher education at Auburn University. During this period, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering.

Additionally, in January 2001, they obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana from the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board (LAPELS).
