Rodrigo Eiras

Rodrigo Eiras has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rodrigo is currently working as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer at Plug Power since January 2023.

Prior to this, Rodrigo worked at Duiker Combustion Engineers, where they held multiple roles. From August 2013 to April 2021, they served as a Lead Mechanical Engineer, responsible for designing and calculating high intensity burners for Sulphur Recovery Units. Rodrigo was also a member of the Quality Assurance Steering Committee and acted as a coach in the Mechanical Design Department. From April 2021 to January 2023, they took on the role of Engineer Mechanical Design & Organizational Coach / Quality Assurance Officer.

Before joining Duiker Combustion Engineers, Rodrigo worked as an Engineering Manager at EbroTank, S.L. from October 2006 to July 2013.

Rodrigo also gained experience as a Plant Logistics Manager at Ficosa International from July 2003 to September 2006. Their responsibilities included managing a workforce, customer demand management, manufacturing planning, procurement, stock management, and warehouse operations. Rodrigo successfully implemented Lean Manufacturing actions during their tenure.

From December 2000 to June 2003, Rodrigo worked at Valeo Engine Cooling where they served as a QCD Supplier Engineer and later as an APU Logistics Manager. Rodrigo was responsible for managing suppliers and logistics operations.

Rodrigo's career started as a Production Manager at EbroTank, S.L. where they worked from March 1999 to December 2000.

Rodrigo Eiras holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Zaragoza, which they obtained from 1991 to 1997. In 1997, they also completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from École Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Belfort in France. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a Master's degree in Business management and marketing from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D.

Additionally, Rodrigo Eiras has obtained a certification in Autodesk Certified Professional: AutoCAD for Design and Drafting Exam Prep from Coursera in September 2022.
