Christos Margonis has a solid work experience in the field of Android development. Christos started their career in 2011, working as a Sector Supervisor for the Greek Census. In this role, they were responsible for cataloging residences and coordinating a team of three for the population census.
In 2011, Christos also served as a Games System Venue Support Supervisor for the Special Olympics World Summer Games ATHENS. Christos supervised the Games Management System at the Equestrian event and coordinated a team of four volunteers.
From 2012 to 2017, Christos worked as a self-employed Android developer, gaining experience in independent projects.
In 2013, they joined NCSR Demokritos as a Research Associate - Android Developer, where they worked until 2017.
In 2017, Christos joined Beat as an Android Developer, later moving up to the position of Senior Android Engineer and then Lead Android Engineer. Christos worked at Beat until 2020.
Since 2020, Christos has been working at Plum as a Senior Android Engineer and has recently been promoted to the position of Lead Android Engineer.
Christos Margonis has a Diploma in Android application development from the National Technical University of Athens, which they obtained in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Department of Computer Science, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Christos also holds additional certifications. Christos completed the "Getting Started with Go" course from Coursera in October 2020 and the "Kotlin for Java Developers" course in January 2019, also from Coursera.
