Ammar Sultan

Ammar Sultan is the Senior Director of Finance at Plume. Ammar has over 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on developing strategies to support growth and new opportunities. Ammar has a strong background in NetSuite and Salesforce, and has led multiple subsidiaries/currencies account management and consolidation. In their previous role as Chief Financial Officer at The Center for Educational Innovation, they were responsible for building out and maintaining a robust internal controls environment for the maintenance of the company’s fiscal records, preparation of its financial reports, and safeguarding of its assets. Ammar also led the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with GAAP and the Company’s policy and procedures.

Ammar Sultan completed their undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance at Oxford Brookes University. Ammar then went on to obtain their certification from the ACCA. Finally, they became a Certified Accounting Technician from the London School of Business and Finance LSBF.

Ammar Sultan reports to Matthew Wetschler, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Franny Oxford - VP, People & Culture, Jerrica Kirkley - Co-Founder & Chief Medical Officer, and Andy Goldstone - VP, Payer Strategy & Partnerships.
